  1. What categories of IPAF operators exist?

IPAF operator categories are generally identified as 1a, 1b, 3a, and 3b. You can get a program that includes all of these in a single study plan, or you must access each of them individually, and by your own decision.

Depending on the categories that you have covered within your certificate, in the labor field you can be designated for different types of MEWP. Although, covering them all will not be something that takes you a long time.

  1. How long does it take to become certified as an IPAF operator?

The duration of the IPAF operator training courses, in the categories that we have mentioned above, generally varies from half a day to two days.

The time in which the course is carried out tends to vary according to two things: the first of these is the experience that the candidate has, and the second has to do with the type of theory that he chooses (in many cases, it can be choose between e-learning and face-to-face).

We take advantage of this point to point out that, in many cases, the IPAF operator certification has a maximum duration of five years. Although, everything will depend on the program, and the institution that carries out the process.
